Left-wing Literature Ideological Trend Under The View Of Lu Xun's Literature Revolution And Practice

The history of Chinese Contemporary Literature was enriched and based by two literature thoughts which were generated one after another:one was "May-Fourth" Enlightenment Literature, while the other one was Chinese Left-wing Literature. The latter was developed on the basis of "May-Fourth" Literature Movement, but it had changed the value goal and ideological selection of May-Fourth Enlightenment Literature Movement. Some people said that, the Chinese20century was not the literary century; it had never been called one independent field, and never been developed abundantly. Chinese Left-wing Literature had proved this pointed by two propositions:the political and revolutionary. The political thought affected and restricted the basic trend of Chinese Left-wing Literature, but as the mainstream literature thought in the20century’s History of Chinese Literature, the Left-wing Literature Thought had controlled the Chinese Modern literature world, had promoted and restricted History of Chinese Literature, even the development of the history of thought.On March2nd,1930, LuXun joined in Chinese Left-wing Writer League, and threw himself into the Left-wing Literature Movement. LuXun began to turn to the Left-wing, had he played the same role as PLA, or walked into the wrong way? In fact, LuXun’s choice started from the rational time condition, he carried the literature revolution and the practical movement on the purpose of "LiRen" consciously.LuXun always insisted on the attitude of suspecting everything, and kept on his own independent personal integrity, he dissociated from every Party, and disinclined to be the battle tool of any Political Parties, he always whooped in the dark as "the warrior of the psychic sphere"。 Under the influence of Left-wing Literature, LuXun still used the literature tool to go on the physical sphere revolution. At the same time, he relied on his abundant experiences, his sharp insight to carry on the deep analysis and rethink as to the Left-wing Literature, boosted and forced the development process of the whole Left-wing Literature to the hide tide. This thesis tried to survey LuXun’s revolutionary literature view and practices during the Left-wing Time, from keeping an eye on the Left-wing Literature, to impersonally analyze the inner and outer factors about LuXun’s "turning left". From LuXun’s life experiences, Chinese factual condition, Chinese revolutionary future and destiny and the other objective and subjective factors, it analyzes the generation and development of LuXun’s revolutionary literature view during the Left-wing Time. Discussing the influence of Left-wing Literature Thought, it analyzes LuXun’s revolutionary literature feature which was different from the other Left-wing writers, and it searched LuXun’s thought by historical and factual factors. Left-wing Literature, as well as LuXun’s literature and social practices made each other to be best, as for the whole China’s Left-wing Literature, without any doubt, it was a new fresh revolutionary force. As for LuXun, it was the deeper "LiRen" under his Nation Consciousness and patriotic feeling. This thesis tried to avoid the present research, tried to study this topic intensively.This thesis has three chapters. The first chapter is to clean up China’s Left-wing Thought under the revolutionary speech, to expound China’s Left-wing Thought’s generation and development which had the Age characteristics. It objectively analyzes China’s Left-wing Thought, and finds the point of intersection between the revolutionary speech and LuXun’s revolutionary literature view and practices. The second chapter, LuXun’s Revolutionary Thought Overview; it is to clean up the background and personal factors about LuXun’s Revolutionary thought’s generation, development and maturity. The revolutionary calling made LuXun understanding the essence of revolutionary. The experiences in Japan and "May-Fourth" established LuXun’s earlier revolutionary literature view, as for the finial purpose of "LiRen", LuXun’s revolutionary thought had gotten the deeper development. Comparing the revolutionary practices between LuXun with Mao Zedong, it stands out that as one litterateur, LuXun’s revolutionary practices is using the literature tool. The third chapter, LuXun and the Left-wing Thought, it is to objectively analyze LuXun’s "turning Left", and objectively evaluates the political and historical relation and the spiritual alienation about LuXun’s Revolutionary Thought of the Left-wing Literature. At last, through the rethink about the Left-wing Literature Thought’s limitations, and apperceiving LuXun’s revolutionary literature, it reveals Left-wing Literature’s limitation. Depending on the deep thinking of LuXun’s revolution literature, it reveals that LuXun’s revolutionary spirit is the deeper development of his "LiRen"; LuXun’s Literature Revolutionary baptized people’s spirit deeply.The purpose of this thesis is that, under the influence of Left-wing Literature Thought, it analyzes LuXun’s revolutionary literature thought and his practices after his "turning left", understand and grasp the meaning of LuXun’s literature revolutionary objectively during Left-wing Literature period, to understand the important historical meaning that LuXun took to the whole Contemporary Literature of China more comprehensively.
