| This research is part of The National Key Basic Research and Development Program ("973"Plan) Project topics—research of visceral manifestation theory of the Liver Storing and Regulating Blood and Liver’s Function of Smoothing and Regulating Mow of Vital-qi and Blood.During the development of traditional Chinese medicine, doctors worked independently to form their own medical theory according to their own clinical experience and knowledge, there is a research gap of systematizing a vast assortment of theories into a cohesive whole. In recent years, cases of hepatic disease have grown increasingly, more and more researches concerning hepatic disease are emerging but most of them are concentrating on the experiments, there is still a need for compiling related theories and literature, especially theory of the liver literature in Ming Dynasty.Doctors in Ming Dynasty raised new opinions about visceral manifestation theory of the liver and the systematic literature review of it can provide a better insight into the problem and further propelling the development of clinical practice or academic research. The research method of this dissertation is based on traditional philology, including historiography, bibliography, textual criticism, critical interpretation of ancient texts, etc, to sift, collect and arrange the medical book concerning of theory of the liver. According to the systematic literature review of existed ancient medical book bound in Ming Dynasty in Chinese ancient books of TCM, the author conducted an overall retrieval concerning the theory of theory of the liver among the medical books, especially in the field of ancient Chinese medical classics, basic theory, diagnostic method, clinical symptoms, medical exposition and discourse and comprehensive writings.In addition, the author collected important editions and investigated crucial passages to probe deeper into the question and clarify the academic heritage. The thesis is divided into three pails, conduct literature review concerning advancing of physiology of the liver in Ming Dynasty, Doctors’ideology about visceral manifestation theory of the liver in Ming Dynasty, advancing of disease may caused by liver in Ming Dynasty separately.This dissertation clarifies the development and status of the theory of the liver in Ming dynasty by sorting out and selecting the medical literature in Ming dynasty. The author believes that literature review is the foundation of research and the value of the literature can be manifested through conducting clinical practice or academic research. |
