On The Basis Of Ancient Literature And Modern Prescription Radix Scutellariae Drug Laws

Radix Scutellariae is the dry root of Scutellaria baicalensis Georgi,it was recorded in the book of Sheng Nong’s herbal classic for the first time. Starting from Qin and Han Dynasty time, Radix Scutellariae has already been used in clinical, which has a history of over two thousand years. Generations of materia medica literature and physicians work all have records of Radix Scutellariae. Doctors in generations have various understanding and utilization to Radix Scutellariae.So It is necessary to study the law of clinical application of Radix Scutellariae.The law of clinical application of Radix Scutellariae originated fromp practice, so we study them from the clinical practice. Clinical practice can be divided into ancient part and modern part, so on one hand, we systemically and deeply research the ancient medical literature, and study、inherit the experience of the predecessors, on the other hand, we continuously summarize the usage characteristics of modern clinical medicine. This thesis systemically comb the efficacy and clinical application of Radix Scutellariae from ancient literature and make a statistic analysis to the formulae which contain Radix Scutellariae, thus researching the compatibility of the law and the treatment disease of Radix Scutellariae. At the same time, we investigate the compatibility of the law and the treatment disease of modern clinical prescription which contain Radix Scutellariae in medical facilities.By systematically categorizing and comparing the compatibility of the law and the treatment disease of Radix Scutellariae between ancient and today, we explore the law of clinical medication and the inheritance、development of Radix Scutellariae in modern clinical application, in order to expand the modern clinical application range of Radix Scutellariae.We learn the compatibility of the law and the treatment disease of Radix Scutellariae is wide and flexible during the coming ancient medical literature and investigating the prescription which contain radix scutellariae in modern medical facilities.The clinical application of Radix scutellariae has a long history and a good therapeutic efficacy, But the good therapeutic efficacy depends on the quality of scutellariae slices. So, in order to ensure the safety、efficacy、standard of Radix scutellariae slices during the clinical applications and improve the therapeutic efficacy of Radix scutellariae. So this thesis performed a comprehensive investigation into the quality of scutellariae slices in medical facilities nationwide, so as to reveal the quality problem of Radix scutellariae, Consequently providing some basis and reference for scientifically and regularly clinical applications of Radix scutellariaeThis thesis contains four part:1.The documentary research for the law of clinical medication of Radix ScutellariaeThe clinical application of Radix scutellariae is wide、flexible in the ancient medical literature. To sum up, Radix Scutellariae has the efficacy of clearing away heat and resolving dampness, purging fire and clearing away toxin、stopping bleeding、treating Shaoyang disease by mediation、soothing the fetus. The first part make、statistic analysis to the formulae which contain、Radix Scutellariae from ancient literature, systematically sort out and sum up the compatibility of the law and the treatment disease of Radix Scutellariae, in order to research and analyse the correlation among the law of clinical medication、the compatibility of the law and the efficacy, and show the composition law and clinical experience of application of radix scutellariae in ancient medical literature.2.The investigate of prescription which contain radix scutellariae of modern medical facilitiesIn order to explore the modern application of Radix Scutellariae in medical facilities, we choose934prescriptions which contain radix scutellariae from7682outpatient prescription as research objects, and record related information such as age、gender、disease、the dose of radix scutellariae、Chinese medicine compatibility with radix scutellariae、total medicine quantity of prescription and so on. Through the statistical analysis based on the data, we get relevant information about treatment of various kinds of disease and compatible characteristics of modern prescriptions which contain radix scutellariae.3.The comparison of the clinical application of radix scutellariae between ancient Chinese and currentIn order to explore the inheritance and application、development of Radix Scutellariae in clinic further, we systematically make a comparison and analysis to the compatibility of the law and the treatment disease of Radix Scutellariae between ancient Chinese and current,and reach a conclusion that ancient Chinese and current have distinctive features and advantages in the compatibility of the law and the treatment disease of Radix Scutellariae, modern clinic medicine have developed with inheriting the experience of the ancients application for radix scutellariae.4. Appendix Investigation and analysis of the quality of Scutellariae baicalensis decoction pieces in medical institutions The compatibility of the law and the treatment disease of Radix Scutellariae is wide and flexible,so we analyse72samples of Radix Scutellariae slices which were collected from medical facilities in16provincial administrative regions, and divided into different sample groups. The sampling covered medical facilities in northern and southern China, the urban and rural areas, and different grades of medical facilities, so as to ensure its representativeness and diversity. All samples were classified into5classes according to the traditional specification criteria of TCM herbal slices,and assayed for their content of baicalin by HPLC method according to the qualification criteria of China Pharmacopoeia, the pass rate and average baicalin content of different sample groups were subsequently calculated.The result show the pass rate of scutellariae slices in72medical facilities was76.39%; the qualtity of scutellariae slices has a close relation with medical facilities in northern and southern China, the urban and rural areas, and different grades of medical facilities besides specification classes.Statistic result of these comparison were further investigated to identify the factors that influence the quality of scutellariae slices. So if supervision department scientifically control the Scutellariae slices quality basing on the for spects above,the therapeutic efficacy of Radix scutellariae will improve by a large margin.
