| Objective:To study the relationship of the single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNP) in the fibroblast growth factor receptor2gene (FGFR2) and the development of breast neoplasm. Methods:We selected280cases of breast neoplasm and280samples of normal controls randomly, tested the polymorphisms of rs2912778ã€rs2981578ã€rs2981582in FGFR2gene by allele specific amplification (ASA) and agarose gel electrophoresis, and finally analysed whether they were related with breast neoplasm. Results:There were differences in the genotypes between the breast neoplasm group and the control group (P<0.05). With respect to the tumor size, no difference was found in rs2981578and rs2981582,while significant difference was found in rs2912778(P<0.01) in ymph node metastasis, there was a non-significant difference in other clinical pathological factors. Conclusions:The SNP of rs2912778,rs2981578,and rs2981582in the FGFR2is probably associated with the incidence of breast neoplasm. |
