Purpose:To compare the clinical results between proximal femoral nailantirotation (PFNA) and dynamic hip screw (DHS) in the treatment ofintertrochanteric frature.Methods:Aretrospectivestudywasconductedon31intertrochantericfracturestreated with DHS(17cases) and PFNA(14cases) in our hospital from March2010to January2012.Results:The differences of the operative time, blood loss and postoperativecomplications between group DHS and group PFNA were statistical significance(P<0.05).Compared with group DHS,group PFNA had shorter operative time, fewerblood loss. No differences of bone healing time between group DHS and PFNA (P>0.05). Three months after surgery, compare the Harris hip score between groupDHS and group PFNA,the excellent rate of the proup DHS is88.2%,the group PFNAis92.9%.Conclusion: PFNA shows good efficacy, less operative time and blood loss inthe treatment of intertrochanteric fracture, worthy of being clinicallyused.Especially, PFNA is much more suitable for patients who are unstablefracture or osteoporotic fracture. |
