Increase Liquid Bearing Gas Tonga Taste Clinical Observation To Prevent Constipation After Knee Replacement

Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy of constipation by liquid Chengqi Decoction prevention in total knee arthroplasty (total of knee replacement, TKR).Methods:Wangjing Hospital of China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences, bone and joint subject line TKR patients due to osteoarthritis of the knee, in line with the subject in March2011to March2012, the inclusion criteria,60cases will be selected using random number table the occurrence of60cases divided into test group and control group, n=30; test group I after TKR two days (after the pull out of the drainage tube) to start taking Zengye Chengqi Decoction, prevention after TKR complications of constipation, prescription components:30g Scrophularia, Ophiopogon25g,25g habitat, rhubarb9g, the mirabilite5g, Astragalus,20g walnuts15g, Chinese angelica10g, dried tangerine peel10g, Coix seed10g; control group for the blank control, not the intervention of oral medication; the basic preventive measures:two groups of patients herein are constipation, preoperative health education,2postoperative umbilical massage,3, early postoperative activities; observed each group of patients first bowel movement after1-5days the total number of bowel movements, stool consistency, bowel movements when accompanied by the feeling and spirit, appetite and other projects, while observing the record whether the occurrence of adverse events. Response Evaluation Criteria:medication within3days of stool will be soft, increased appetite, mental, after stopping defecation no obvious discomfort considered valid; after5days of no bowel movement and accompanied by abdominal distention anxious, Shen Juan fatigue, stomach satisfied that the decline symptoms; or of stool will be hard, difficult defecation, stool less<35g persons.; or require the suspension of observation required to open the enema anus or soapy water enema to relieve constipation discomfort caught as invalid.Results:Patients in both groups the incidence of constipation was significantly different from the test group of patients with constipation was significantly lower than the control group (P<0.05); the experimental group (n=30), effective28cases.2cases, the total efficiency of93.3%; control group30cases,22cases,8cases, the total efficiency of73.3%; two effective cases of the first defecation time were significantly different (P<0.05).28cases effective by3days after the first defecation of the experimental group18cases, four days seven cases, five days three cases; control group of22cases in three days the first bowel movement4cases,4days,10cases,5days8cases; two sets of valid cases defecation totalnumber of times also significantly (P<0.05), the experimental group of28cases the total number of bowel movements1and2cases,2of5cases, three times eight cases, four of six cases, five cases, six cases;control group of22cases of the total number of bowel movements8cases,2of9cases,5cases. Efficient treatment group than the control group. There were no adverse events.Conclusion:For prevention after TKR constipation, increase fluid Chengqi Decoction with good clinical efficacy, safety, reliability, and worthy of further research and extension.
