Diabetic nephropathy (DN) is a common microvascular complication caused by diabetes. It is one of the secondary kidney disease with the characteristic of glomerular sclerosis, and is one of the main cause of end-stage renal failure, and patients with diabetes. So looking for effective method to intervent the origin and development of DN has important significance. My Teacher Professor Lou Xien, according to the pathogenesis characteristic of early DN, professored "deficiency of both qi and yin, blood stasis and poison block" as the basic pathogenesis of early DN, made the treatment of "tonify qi and yin, detoxification and promoting blood circulation", and invented "Ge Qi Jiang Tang" prescription, which had been widely applicated in clinic. Objective:The aim of the study is to observe the influence of the method "tonify qi and yin, detoxification and promoting blood circulation" on d-dimer, c-reactive protein, microal-buminuria ect. biochemical indexs, to evaluate its clinical curative effect in treating early diabetic nephropathy (Yin deficiency of both qi and blood stasis, poison block type), and then discuss the curative effect mechanism of method "tonify qi and yin, detoxification and promoting blood circulation", so as to provide the theoretical basis for its clinical promotion. Methods:We had Chose55cases who meet the criteria for the selection of type2diabetes patients with diabetic nephropathy phase Ⅲ (Mogenson staging system), TCM syndrome differentia-tion of Yin deficiency of both qi and blood stasis syndrome patients poison block. According to the doctor order, they were divided into the Group-1(31cases) and Group-2(24cases). Two groups of patients had no significant difference (P>0.05)in the gender, age, duration, symptoms, and microalbuminuria etc.Patients in Group-1were given "Ge Qi Jiang Tang" prescription and foundation treatment (sugar, step-down, diet and exercise etc). Patients in Group-2were given Cozaar and foundation therapy. After12weeks, we compared the curative effection before and after treatment of TCM syndrome integral, blood d-dimer, c-reactive protein, microalbuminuria and other biochemical indicators between the two groups. Results:The syndromes integral, blood fat, blood d-dimer, c-reactive protein, microalbuminuria and blood beta2-MG had been significantly improved than that of before in Group-1. Compared with Group-2, patients in Group-1had marked diffference in improving TCM symptoms and reducing TC, LDL and microalbuminuria. Conclusion:Method "tonify qi and yin, detoxification and promoting blood circulation" can improve the symptoms of the patients with diabetic nephropathy phase Ⅲ (Yin deficiency of both qi and blood stasis syndrome patients poison block) of traditional Chinese medicine, lipid metabolic disorder, reduce blood d-dimer. c-reactive protein, reduce microalbuminuria and blood beta2-MG, so as to help protect the renal function, delay the progress of diabetic nephropathy.
