Overview:the distal radius fracture is a common clinical a fracture, the fracture occurs in the range of2-3cm of the distal radius, cancellous bone parts. Accounted for10%of all fractures of distal radius fractures, the majority of older people and adults, especially in elderly patients with osteoporosis, accounted for17%of emergencyfracture incidence. Fractures caused by indirect force, fall down, elbow straight, forearm pronation, wrist dorsiflexion, with hands palm down, the stress at the distal radius fracture. Cross-shaped, crushed shape are not uncommon. The anatomical structure of the distal radius to participate constitute the wrist, such as the improper treatment will affect wrist function. Fracture can cause a high degree of shortening ofthe distal radius, ulnar deviation and loss of palm dip, this will result in a reduction ofwrist activity and pain and functional barriers. Objective:In this paper a distal radial fracture the relationship between imagingmeasurements and wrist function, evaluation of distal radius fractures the clinicalsignificance of closed reduction and external fixation imaging measurement datarecovery for wrist function.Research methods:45cases in the Guang An Men Hospital orthopedic May2011to November2011, during the treatment of distal radius fractures closed reduction and cast orsplint external fixation patients, patients reset the X-ray film on the PACS systemmeasuring the radial palm inclination, ulnar deviation, and telephone interviews of patients during reset after3May the cooney wrist score, the analyzingthe relationship between imaging measurements and wrist function.Results:45patients with the cooney wrist function score and measure the imagingdata were excellent in12cases, radial:7.6±0.6mm, ulnar deviation:20.4±3.2°, thepalm inclination:8.9±3.6°, good26cases, the radial high:6.5±0.8mm, ulnar deviation:18.2±3.5°, palm dip to7.6±4.2°for the six cases, radial:3.9±0.9mm,ulnar deviation:16.1±2.5°,palm dip:3.4±2.4°difference in1case, the radius:3.0mm, ulnar deviation:13.5°, palm dip angle:-10.3°.Conclusion:The measurement of distal radius fractures imaging data have importantimplications for closed reduction of wrist and description of clinical manipulationsradial and ulnar deviation and palm inclination to restore wrist function plays a significant role...
