Because of the load and the particularity of working conditions, the space servo precision drive mechanism of ball screw has great difference compared with the universal ball screw drive on the contact deformation, friction wear and failure mechanism. So the research on the spaceflight condition of ball screw has essential significance.This paper focuses on ball screw pair of theoretical research and discussion based on elastic-plastic mechanics, tribology, thermodynamics. First, based on Hertz theory combined with plastic deformation characteristics of ball screw pair we have the elastic-plastic contact deformation modeling, which is from the mathematical calculation model and finite element simulation by the characteristics of the ball screw pair, and carried out the ball screw pair of contact research. Second, From the ball screw pair of friction torque generation mechanism, the establishment of a ball screw pair of friction torque calculation model, analyzes and discusses the various factors conditions on the ball screw pair, the influence of friction torque. Based on the thermal deformation basic equation and finite element theory, we set up a pair of temperature rise and thermal deformation of the mathematic model for the ball screw. Determine the constraint conditions and thermal load we establishes the ball screw pair of steady temperature field analysis model, and gives the thermal displacement deformation diagram. Finally, according to the circumstances, whether prestressing of ball screw pair, we have the transmission efficiency of the mathematical model calculation.This paper studies the condition for space for servo precision ball screw drive optimization design has a certain theoretical value for space mechanical and electrical servo mechanism of miniaturization, lightweight design provides a certain technical support.
