Millimeter-wave precision guidance technology is an important branch of precision guidance technology. The millimeter-wave precision-guided weapons, with the all-weather and "fire-and-forget" capabilities, attract more and more attention of each country. Compared with millimeter-wave pulse system radars, millimeter-wave frequency modulated continuous wave (FMCW) radars own miniature size, low emission power, strong anti-disturbance capability and other notable features, but have not been widely applied. The main reason is continuous wave radar’s disadvantage: signal leakage problem. For this, scholars have proposed many methods, in which RF (Radio Frequency) cancellation technology is one of primary ways to solve the problem of single-antenna millimeter-wave FMCW radar, especially for missile-borne:small, compact weapon application backgroud, we start a depth study on RF cancellation technology. Finally, more than30dB T/R isolation in200MHz bandwidth is attained.First, based on in-depth study of RF cancellation principle, we design analog and digital RF cancellation test system programs on Ka-band, analyze the performance of the RF cancellation system, and make a detailed description of the composition and function of each module in the system program. Then, according to the key indicators of the system, we design each functional module and complete hardware assembly and testing work of the test system. Thus, an analog test system prototype of single antenna FMCW radar transceiver front-end using RF cancellation technology is completed. Finally, the test program on cancellation ratio is proposed, and carefully tested, after the test data analysis, we obtain the test results, analyze the factors that affected the cancellation ratio. and make outlook on follow-on work.
