Fomesafen, one of the diphenyl ethers, become one of the worst pollutants in soil because of extensive using in the world. As a result, effects of degrading bacterias on Fomesafen and its bio-degradation has attracted increasing attention. In present research, degrading bacterias were isolated and identified, and its degradation effects were analyzed.Highly effective degrading bacterium of Fomesafen were isolated 10 strains from soil which has long term applied with Fomesafen through enrichment culture method, named BDH-FB2、BDH-FB5、BDH-FB6、BDH-FB8、BDH-FB9. The degradation percentage of Fomesafen 25.12% to 88.32% after cultured 96h in liquid mineral medium containing 500 mg/LBased on the morphological appearances, physiological biochemical characters and 16SrDNA sequence analyse, the Degrading bacterium BDH-FB2、BDH-FB9 100% homologous with different Klebsiella Oxytoca SP., BDH-FB5、BDH-FB6 100% homologous with different Shigella SP. BDH-FB8100% homologous with Pseudomonas SP.Degrading bacterium of Fomesafen grew fast in Inorganic Salt Culture Medium. 0-24h in the lag phase,36-48h in the exponential growth phase, and end in 60h then go into a stationary phase. The Degrading bacterium grew fast when the temperature was 28~40℃, Degrading bacterium grew best when the temperature was 37℃.when the pH value of 7.0~9.0, the Degrading bacterium can grew and grew best is when the pH was 7.0. The activity of Degrading bacterium is different in different Culture Medium, the Optimum of BDH-FB2, BDH-FB8 is Inorganic Salt Culture Medium with Fomesafen in it, the Optimum of BDH-FB5、BDH-FB6、BDH-FB9 are LB calture with Fomesafen in it. Different Culture Medium were used in the Amplification Culture.Bioassay experiment showed that the seeding and height of sensitive crop of degrading bacteria treatment were compatible with the control, on the whole, it considered that Degrading bacterium could recover the contamination of Fomesafen. The recover effects of Degrading bacterium were the most prominent when the Fomesafen concentration was 50μg/kg in soil, The treatment without Degrading bacterium in it, the wet weight, dry weight, plant height are inhibited. The rate of degrading bacteria treatments would lower, The recover ability might be even better when the introduction of degrading bacteria was increased.
