Chinese Television Drama Review Over Thirty Years

The popularity of television in terms of traditional Chinese operaart is a both challenge and opportunity. It not only finds a new carrierto opera heritage, but also enriches the content of televisionperformance.Since the reform and opening up, the television dramafollowed it into a new period of vigorous development, its researchalso showed the good situation of“letting a hundred flowers blossomand a hundred schools of thought contend”: Both the reseach senseand the research team have grown, research areas also contributegreatly to broaden, which made huge contribution to the developmentof China’s TV drama art. However, the development of televisiondrama has not been easy up to now, this emerging art style is still notone of the broad masses that people loved, and its artistic status isalso far lower than other forms of Television Arts; in theory aspect, TVOpera Theory is still in its infancy. There is no consensus for theunderstanding of many nature and basic issues and no clear rules andforms in the methods of handling and resolving these issues. TVdrama in the development of the various realities means that the TVdrama from the creation to the theoretical research is still in theimmature stage, we need further efforts to explore.This paper attempts to use a combination of theory and specific information to review and reflect on the research of this period. Thispaper of the television drama is divided into the nature of art forms,development, aesthetics, creativity, and drama TV series of five parts.Through the analysis and combing of the specific information, I haveelaborated on the main content and perspectives in the study oftelevision drama, and put forward my own opinions and views on someof the key issues. Such as the TV drama should be set their ownlanguage system as soon as possible to resolve the contradictions ofTV and Drama realistic and impressionistic; the performing of TVdrama should be keep daily life; and we must focus on the explorationof the ontological value of television drama aesthetics in terms ofaesthetic research .Then,I analyse the main reason of prosperity inthis period, and summarize the research methods to study defectsand deficiencies,point out the significance and effect in the study oftelevision drama and put forward more specific comments andsuggestions on the development of television drama and theorybuilding.At the same time,I want to thoroughly explore the reasons ,put forward the vision for the future ,and contribute a little humble forthe development of television drama and its in-depth study .
