| Objective:To observe the clinical effect of ziyinmingmu pill on the Patients of Age-related Macular Degeneration(AMD),and discuss the mechanism of ZiYinMingMu pill initially.Methods:All the 64 cases of AMD from the frist hospital affiliated toTradtional Chinese Medicine of Hunan college, were randomly divided into two groups:ShuGanMinmu pill group(n=32) and MingMuDiHuang pill group(n=32). The index of curative effect:Vision, Eyeground hemorrhage, Fundus hemorrhage, Blood fats,Hemorheoloy and the multiple scores of manifestation of TCM.Results:1.Both groups had the function for treating AMD, There was significance between before and after treatment (p<0.05).2.Compared the clinical effect, ZiYinMingMu pill group was superior to MingMuDiHuang pill group. (p< 0.05)Conclusion:ZiYinMingMu pill had a certain effect on AMD.The mechanism may be that it had the function of regulating the pigmental epithelia of retina,clearance of free fadical and changs in the expressive activities of apoptosis-related genes,improving hemorrage absorption, improving the microcirculation of macular retina. |
