| Objects:To observe the clinical therapeutic effect of PiPaQingFeiYin in treating acne vulgaris, and to assess the effect of PiPaQingFeiYin on male hormone in female patient with acne vulgaris.Methods:121patients(18-40years old) were randomly divided into the treated group (n=61) and the control group (n=60), they were treated with Liangxuexiaocuoyin and western medicine (minocycline) respectively. Besides,66healthy subject aged were selected as normal control. Serum levels of testosterone (T) in all patients and healthy subjects as well as the clinical therapeutic effect of the treatments were observed and compared.Results:The total effective rate in the treated group and the control group was93.4%and78.3%respectively. Comparison between them showed significant difference. The serum level of T was higher than that in healthy subjects (P<0.05), while showed no difference between the treated group and the healthy subject after treatment(P>0.05).Conclusion; PiPaQingFeiYin had definite clinical effect in treating acne vulgaris. The therapie mechanism of Liangxuexiaocuoyin may be credited with changing the sexual hormone. |
