Objective:To analysis the appropriate clinical implantation site of microsrew in buccal shelf area by using cone beam computer tomographic scan combined with Mimics three-dimensional image processing software, to provide a reference for the clinicians for secure implanted micro-screws in the buccal shelf area.Materials and Methods:Select samples from Shandong University Stomatological Hospital orthodontic department patients60,30men and30women, age18to30years old.The samples were scanned by the CBCT and input the CT datas into Mimics software for three-dimensional reconstruction. The required cross-sectional was segment from the three-dimensional image reconstruction, then take the following measurements:To select2mm,4mm,6mm,8mm,10mm fault from the top of the alveolar crest In the the mandibular buccal shelf area (first premolar and second premolar, second premolar and first molar, first molar and second molar), the near-far and bucco-lingual bone width of the corresponding cross-section were measured.Application SPSS17.0software for statistical analysis.Results:The difference between male and female each measured value has no statistical significance (p>0.05)The difference between left and right on both sides of the measured values have no statistical significance (p>0.05)In the the mandibular buccal shelf area, the largest parts of the bone mass at the mesial and distal direction is between first molar and second molar form the alveolar crest at8mm (4.59±1.33mm); the site of the the buccolingual largest bone mass is between the first molar and second molar from the alveolar crest at8mm (15.28±1.53mm). the smallest parts of the bone mass at the mesial and distal direction is between the second premolar and first molar form the alveolar crest at2mm (2.65±0.38mm) the site of the the buccolingual smallest bone mass is between the first premolars and second premolar from the alveolar crest at2mm (8.07±0.57mm).Conclusion:The implantation sites have no differences in the mandibular buccal shelf area between men and women as well as the left and right.In the the mandibular buccal shelf area,the site of the maximum amount of bone at the mesial-distal and buccolingual is between the first molars and second molar.In the the mandibular buccal shelf area with increasing distance from the alveolar crest, mesial-distal and buccolingual bone width increases; the maximum bone mass at10mm frome the alveolar crest between the first premolars and second premolars, the largest bone mass at8mm between the second premolar and first molar, the first molar and second molar.In the the mandibular buccal shelf area, the largest parts of the bone mass at the mesial and distal direction is between first molar and second molar form the alveolar crest at8mmMicro-screw implants have individual differences, thus, we need to assess implant bone mass and implant sites individually before implant operation, in order to realize microscrew’s accurate and safe implantation. |
