Objective: To evaluate the efficacy and safety of manidipine hydrochloride tablesin treatment of mild to moderate hypertension.Method: This is a randomized, double-blind clinical trial,We choose amlodipinebesylate as a control drug,44patients with mild to moderate hypertension whovoluntarily signed the informed consent, they were divided into test group and controlgroup,we give them study drug(manidipine hydrochloride tablets and simulation ofamlodipine besylate) and control drug (amlodipine besylate and simulation ofmanidipine hydrochloride)respectively,we will pay them a return in2weeks and4weeks after treatment, in4weeks after treatment,if SBP<140mmHg and DBP<90mmHg,so to maintain the initial dose of the drug, otherwise if the SBP≥140mmHgand/or DBP≥90mmHg,the drug dose was doubled. Then continue treatment for4weeks,compared of2experimental groups before and after treatment the bloodpressure values, tolerance and the incidence of adverse events. Using SPSS15.0statistical software for general descriptive analysis data, the efficacy indicators wereevaluated with Cochran-Mantel-Haenszel analysis.Result: Research into the group of patients with mild-to-moderate hypertension44cases,22cases of test group,22cases of control group, without loss and eliminate cases, subjects who completed the study were with good compliance. There was no significantdifference for baseline characteristics between groups (P>0.05),including sex, age, body mass index (BMI),baseline systolic and diastolic BP,and heart rate.In the2groups before and after the treatment,DBP and SBP was statistically significant(P=0.00). Incidence of adverse reactions and systolic BP and incidence of adverseevents between two groups had no obvious difference at the end of treatment (P>0.05). Conclusion: Manidipine hydrochloride in treatment of mild to moderate essentialhypertension is safe and effective, With good tolerance.
