The Synthesis And Antioxidant Activity Of Acetylferulic Acid Paeonol Esters

It is very improtant to maintain the balance of the free radicals level in body,becauce it will bring so much dangerous such as aging, inflammation, cancer and cardiovascular disease to the body if the balance be destroyed. Ferulic acid and paeonol all have the function of scavenging free radicals and some of their derivatives have better effects. Some of these derivatives are synthetised to pro-drug which based on drug combination and pro-drug principle.The pro-drug can enhance fat-soluble ability and improve bioavailability.In this study, we design one pro-drug acetyferulic acid paeonol esters which is expected to have better fat soluble ability and better synergy of antioxidant activity by releasing ferulic acid and phenol in vivo under enzymatic reactions.In this study, we synthetize acetyferulic acid paeonol esters through three reaction routes, then get the optimized method by orthogonalization. The structural characterization of the target compounds are identified by IR,’H-NMR.The ability of scavenging radicals of acetyl ferulic acid paeonol esters were evaluated by using various biology assays.Comparing with ferulic acid and phenol, the result show that the ability of of acetyl ferulic acid paeonol esters were weaker on scavenging free radicals-OH and DPPH·...
