The author attempts to find out reasons for the deterioration of the doctor-patient relationship, create a new form of contract and solve the agency problems between doctors and patients from the point of view of the principal-agent.The principal-agent theory in modern economics believes that as long as the acquisition of the interests of a person is dependent on another person’s behavior, then the agency relationship arises. The perpetrators called agents; the affected party is the principal. Inhibition of disease progression in patients with the doctor-patient relationship or physical rehabilitation depends on the behavior of the doctor’s treatment. So the doctor-patient relationship can be understood as a principal-agent relationship, which affected patients are called the principal and the doctors called agents.
