| Objective: Based on the researches done by others, this research sets up a hypothesiswhich could be applied into clinical psychology in order to cover the insufficiencies of thestudies of this area and.This research takes the approach of Meta-cognition InterventionTechnique to focus on social phobia and with the scientific experiments it scratches the effecton the treatment period, the outcomes of the treatments and the outcomes after being curedcaused by the training tasks of Meta-cognition Intervention Technique,then explains thattraining tasks of Meta-cognition Intervention Technique plays an important roal in treatingsocial phobia and arouses study on the training tasks about types,quantity andstrength.Furthermore,it enhances this Technique’s treatment effect.Method: This research takes the approach of Multiple-baseline design, SCL-90, HAMAand LSAS to get the points and the difference between the points before the treatment andafter the treatment. And tests the difference in scores of SCL-90, HAMA,LSAS and SelfQuestionnaire between the two groups by the W-test of SPSS software.Result: The points the subjects get after the treatment and the points they get in theinterview afterwards are below the standard and the total score of Hamilton anxiety scale(HAMA) is less than21. The total score of Liebowitz Social Anxiety Scale (LSAS) is lessthan38. After the intervention, according to the results from Multiple-baseline, the intensityof social phobia gets down, especially the intensity of the subjects in the experimental group.After the second intervention in which training tasks are added, the fear in socialcommunication gets down obviously and it goes toward disappearing. The difference is veryclear after getting the results from SCL-90,HAMA,LSAS and the effect form designed bythe researcher which are done in the experimental group and control group.Conclusion: Meta-cognition Intervention Technique is effective in treating social phobiaand it can help the subjects out in a short time. Training tasks are really effective when thesubjects do the supervision, diagnose and self-training themselves against the situationalstimuli. It also can shorten the treatment period,make the treatment effective and make theeffectiveness last longer. |
