Clinical Observation Of Modified Yu Ye Soup To Treat Elderly Patients With Type2Diabetes (Qi And Yin Deficiency And Blood Stasis Syndrome)

Objective:Make an objective evaluation of Modified Yu Ye Soup’s treatment for elderly Patients with type2diabetes (qi and yin deficiency and blood stasis syndrome), and assess its security.Methods:72elderly patients with type2diabetes according to random number tables were divided into treatment group and control group, each group have36cases. Two groups of patients were taken the test principle of Mutual control, the treatment group2cases fall off for material not complete,4cases don’t want to oral the traditional Chinese medicine. The control group6fall off cases for material not complete.The final selection were60cases, each group30cases only has. Among them,30patients of control group will be treated by the method of western medicine treatment (diabetes education, diet control, exercise therapy, the original conventional treatment and insulin hypoglycemic therapy). The treatment group by way of combining traditional Chinese and western medicine treatment, will plus oral therapy by Modified Yu Ye Soup based the treatment of the control group. Course of two groups’treatments are14days. The purpose is to make the two groups of observers be no significant in the general information of age, sex, course of disease and complications and merger disease.Results:To improve the patient disease curative effect in, in the treatment group,7patients were marked,19patients were effective,4patient was invalid, total efficiency was86.67%. In the control group,5patients were marked,20patients were effective,5patient was invalid, total efficiency was83.33%. The two groups were used the Wilcoxon rank sun test, the results were statistically significant (P<0.01). It was indicated that the treatment group was more effective than the control group. In the improvement of syndrome integral,16patients were marked,11patients were effective,3patient was invalid, total efficiency was90.00%. In the control group,10patients were marked,15patients were effective,5patient was invalid, total efficiency was83.33%. The two groups were used the Wilcoxon rank sun test, the results were statistically significant (P<0.01), conclusions, the treatment group in the improvement of syndrome, was better than the control one. After treatment between the before the fasting blood glucose average, the averages of2hours postprandial blood glucose eat blood sugar, serum fructosamine, compare (P>0.05), no significant difference, two groups of patients that the index of the improved no significant difference. But after the treatment of insulin group comparison, P<0.05, the result is significant difference.Two groups of patients in that after14days of clinical observation, the two groups of patients achieving the same hypoglycemic effect. But, the treatment group insulin use less than the control group.There were no adverse reactions and obvious side effects in clinical observation in14days, and the patients did not appear a low blood glucose reaction. Conclusion:Modified Yu Ye Soup has good therapeutic effects and non-toxic side effects for elderly Patients with type2diabetes (qi and yin deficiency and blood stasis syndrome). And it has important clinical value.
