Objective:To Comparative study the influence on HSP70and SOD release in myocardial ischemia and early reperfusion using cold autologous blood cardioplegia and HTK cardioplegia in infants suffer with ventricular septal defect undergoing cardiopulmonary bypass. Revealing the endogenous protective effect of cold autologous blood cardioplegia to immature myocardium in open heart surgery by cardiopulmonary bypass.Methods:Forty cases with ventricular septa] defect, age under1-year-old, were randomly divided into experimental group(n=20) and control group(n=20). After aortic cross-clamping, cold autologous blood cardioplegia or HTK fluid was perfused through the aortic root. Immediately before aortic cross-clamping,1minute and15minutes after aortic cross-opening, blood sample from coronary sinu and vein was obtained. HSP70and SOD concentration was determined with enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA)Results:In the same group, HSP70, SOD concentration after aortic cross-opening was significantly increased (P<0.05, P<0.01) to thatbefore aortic cross-clamping. The detection of indicator concentration there were no significant difference in two groups before aortic cross-clamping(P>0.05). After aortic cross-opening, the HSP70and SOD concentration in using cold autologous blood cardioplegia group was significantly higher than that in HTK cardioplegia group (P <0.05).Conclusion:The release of HSP70and activities of SOD increase in myocardial ischemia and reperfusion of early in Infants suffer with ventricular septal defect undergoing cardiopulmonary bypass. Cold autologous blood cardioplegia can promote the releasing of HSP70and SOD in myocardial ischemia and early reperfusion in open heart surgery by cardiopulmonary bypass. Which has endogenous protective effect for Immature myocardium.
