Research On How To Improve Equal Access To Basic Medical And Health Services In Both Urban And Rural Areas Of Hubei Province

Being equally access to basic medical and health services is an important part to perfect public service system, an important measure to the construction of the service-type government, and at the same time an important method to satisfy citizens’ health caring needs. As the CPC Central Committee explicitly set the goal of that "everyone will have access to basic medical and health services" by the year of2020to ensure citizens health rights, the paper will explore how to realize the whole society’s equal access to basic medical and health services, which has the important theoretical and practical significance, through the research of the current situation of equal access to basic medical and health services of Hubei province.The basic medical and health services has incrementally been caught attention of the decision-maker of the government and Chinese scholars recently, but there were few specific research on the equal access to basic medical and health services of Hubei province yet. Therefore, the paper will study systematically on the equal access to basic medical and health services in both urban and rural areas of Huber province, trying to provide feasible advice and suggestions to promote the development of equal access to basic medical and health services in urban and rural areas of Hubei province. Then, the author summarizes the successful experience and practice promoting the equal access to basic medical and health between the urban and rural areas. Next, the paper analysis the supply situation, the equal access to basic medical and health services, of Hubei province thoroughly through literature reviewing and data searching, and explored the deep reasons account for the people’s unequal access to basic medical and health services in Hubei.
