Expression Of TGF-β1in Common Bile Duct Of Rats With Obstructive Jaundice After External Biliary Drainage

Objective To investigate the expression of TGF-β1in bile duct tissue of rats withobstructive jaundice after external biliary drainage operation andanalyze the relevance of obstructive jaundice, external biliarydrainage and expression of TGF-β1.Methods A rat model of obstructive jaundice was established by surgery. Theobstructive section of the bile duct tissues on the days0,1,4,7,10afterexternal biliary drainage operation were examined byimmunohistochemistry staining. Furthermore, blood samples werecollected to determine hepatic functional indexes.Results The model of obstructive jaundice was successfully established. Thelevels of serum TBIL,DBIL,ALT,AST,GGT in model group were allincreased significantly. The hepatic functional indexes decreasedrapidly after external biliary drainage operation. And it returned to thenormal basically in10days after drainage. The expression of TGF-β1in bile duct tissue was significantly higher in model group than it inthe control group. And it began to declined in4days after externalbiliary drainage.Conclusions The expression of TGF-β1in bile duct tissue of rats has a closerelationship with obstructive jaundice or external biliary drainage...
