The treatment of the digestive system disease changes rapidly.There are manydifferent kinds of methods which have obtained great achievements. However, somedigestive diseases haven’t yet been overcome in the best way.Researchers continue toexplore and practice, some new therapies have been applied in the clinical treatment.Biological agents in the clinical application of digestive system diseases have beenpayed more attention and got encouraging achievements. Biological agents are madeof the pathogenic microbe or its metabolites as well as the animal and human plasmaand the protein or nucleic acid products by using the recombinant DNA technologyand other biological technologies。Cytokine agents are a kind of synthetic biologicalagents, similar to the small molecular polypeptide synthesized and secreted by bodycells, affect the body tissue growth and metabolism with binding to the specificalsurface receptors of the effector cells. This article does a review about the researchresults of biological agents especially the cytokine agents in the clinical application ofthe digestive system disease recently.
