| Objective: to appraise the clinical effect of electro-acupuncturetreatment for functional consitipation, by observing numeric ratingconsitipation scales and PAC-QOL of before and after treatment offunctional consitipation patients.Methods:184functional consitipation patients who met criteriacriteria were randomly divided into electro-acupuncture group andmedication group. Each group had92patients. Patients ofelectro-acupuncture group were acupunctured main points which wereZhongwan,Guanyuan and bilateral Tianshu, and after acuesthesia connectedto LH202H electric acupuncture apparatus for30minutes every day,5daysa week and lasted4weeks. Patients of medication group were given orallyby Macrogol4000Powders10g,twice a day and lasted4weeks.A course oftreatment was2weeks and2courses were given. Numeric ratingconsitipation scales and PAC-QOL of before and after treatment of patientswere observed and all patients were followed up in4weeks,8weeks and12weeks. Finally, it was appraised the long-term results and doingstatistical analysis.Results1.Total scores and component scores of CCS showed thatcompared with before treatment, the difference of the EA group wassignificant(P <0.05); the difference of the medicine group wassignificant(P <0.05); between component and total scores of the two groupsafter treatment for constipation, total scores and component scores wassignificant(P <0.05) in constipation scores, defecation time scores andfrequency times/day scores; stool type, anal fall and bloating scoresdifference was no significant difference (P>0.05).Hint:the two treatmentcan improve the patients with constipation, difficult defecation, defecation time, frequency, but the EA group was better than the medicine group, while there was no significant difference in stool of patients withtype, anus fall and bloating, efficacy considerable.2.PAC-QOLscores of patients with constipation showed that in the EAgroup and medicine group before and after treatment, the each group abouttheir treatment before and after the different was statisticallysignificant (P <0.05); two groups of patients after treatment weredifferent (P <0.05). Hint: two kinds of therapy can improve the qualityof life of patients with constipation, and electro-acupuncture group wasbetter than the medicinegroup.3.The two groups of patients overall clinical efficacy analysisshowed that the curative rate and the effective rate was no significantdifference (P>0.05) in EA group and medicine group, Hint: the two groupsin improving the curative rate and effective rate were well-matched, andthe effects were better.Epilogue: Clinical observations indicate that electro-acupuncturetreatment of functional constipation was effective, rapid and had feweradverse reactions. The way was worthy of the application andpopularization. |
