Clinical Efficacy Of Moxibustion With Salt In Bamboo Circle For Treatment Of Lumbar Intervertebral Disc Herniation

Objective:Compare the degree of improvement through the patients’ integral of low back and legs pain symptoms,signs and functions’ and the total integral by the therapy of moxibustion with salt in bamboo circle and conventional acupuncture cupping in lumbar disc herniation patients,to determine the clinical curative effect of moxibustion with salt in bamboo circle. It aims to explore new ideas and methods for the treatment of lumbar intervertebral disc herniation, and the clinical promotion, to improve the cure rate of lumbar intervertebral disc herniation.Methods:This task will use randomized and comparative method.The60cases of lumbar intervertebral disc herniation will be divided into two groups,30cases of moxibustion with salt in bamboo circle group (treatment group) and30cases of conventional acupuncture cupping group (control group). Making quantitative scoring, and cure and effective rate statistics of the two groups of the patients before and after a period of treatment in the integral of low back and legs pain symptoms, signs and functions and the total integral of lumbar intervertebral disc herniation patients.Results:The two cases in the integral of low back and legs pain symptoms, signs and functions and the total integral of lumbar intervertebral disc hemiation improved significantly compared with those before treatment (P<0.01). The integral of low back and legs pain signs, functions and the total integral of lumbar intervertebral disc herniation of the treatment group is better than that of control group (P<0.05).The cure and effective rate of the treatment group is86.7%(26/30), and the control group is63.3%(19/30).The cure and effective rate of the treatment group is better than that of control group (P<0.05).Conclusion:Moxibustion with salt in bamboo circle is an effective method on the treatment of lumbar intervertebral disc herniation, its effect is better than that of conventional acupuncture and cupping. Moxibustion with salt in bamboo circle is safe and comfortable on the treatment of lumbar intervertebral disc herniation, and it is easy to be accepted,without obvious adverse reaction.
