Objective:To analys the effective and the apply of transcathter artiarealchemoembolization combined with radiofrequency ablation in treatment of the liver tumor. Methods:We had collectived41patients with liver tumors which had acceptedpercutaneous radiofrequency ablation between August2009to August2011in ourinterventional radiology department. Hepatic artery chemotherapy embolization isconventionally via femoral artery intubation or are special cases of the brachial arterycannulation, Super selected intubation to hepatic artery and to infusion ofchemotherapeutic drug and the liquid lipiodol emulsion embolization of hepatic artery.Percutaneous radiofrequency ablation is in ultrasound or CT imaging guided, can also bein a surgical laparotomy under direct vision, the ablation needle is inserted into the tumortissue, using radiofrequency ablation system sends out high frequency wave to ablate thetumor tissue cells. Results:In all this41liver tumor patients, there are34men and7femles.They are beteen43to87years old, their average age are62years old.In all thesepatients, there are61masses,103sites are ablated. We had followed up the patients for1-24monthes,with a median followed up7.6monthes.Untill to2010.8,there were4patients had died and there were2HCC in them. All these4died patients have nodirection association with the radiofrequency ablation therapy. Conclusion:Transcathterartiareal chemoembolization combined with radiofrequency ablation is a effectivetreatment in liver tumor and it is worthy of popularization and application. |
