Objectives:To analyse the treatment effects for Graves’ disease and the relatedfactors, to investigate the clinical therapeutic effect and factors associated with therapeuticeffect in131I treatment of Graves’hyperthyroidism.131I treatment for complications ofthyroid diseases. Materials and Methods:495cases weresuccessfully followed up for atleast1year.To analyzed retrospectively, including genderã€ageã€duration of the diseaseã€serum T3〠T4level,mass of the thyroid〠serum thyroglobulin antibody(TGAb)ã€throperoxidase antibody(TPOAb),the highest131I absorption rateã€radioiodine doseã€drugtherapyã€thyroid receptor antibodies(TRAb). Using SPSS17.0statistical software analyzesthe data, to find the factors which affect the131I therapy for Graves’ hyperthyroidismefficacy. Results: In495cases,183cure (37.4%) still hyperthyroidism120cases (22.6%),hypothyroidism, and193cases (40.0%). Total effective rate (cure and hypothyroidism)75.8%(375/495). The clinical efficacy mainly associated with mass of thyroid〠genderã€duration of the diseaseã€serum T3levelã€TGAbã€TPOAb,the highest131I absorption rateã€radioiodine dose and the TRAb(P<0.05).Conclusions:131I treatment for hyperthyroidismis a simple, safe and effective method; one administration can get a higher cure rate. Thepreferred method can be used as the treatment of hyperthyroidism.mass of thyroidã€genderã€duration of the diseaseã€TGAbã€TPOAb,the highest131I absorption rateã€radioiodine dose and the TRAbcan influence the clinical efficacy.131I therapy forhyperthyroidism complications also has a good effect. |
