| Objective: To evaluate the value of methods using Molybdenum Target X-rayã€ColorDoppler Ultrasound and combined application in differential diagnosis of breast masses. Methods and materials:110breast masses and microcalciticaion detection metastasis inthe patients were studied and compared with pathological results. All the patients wereexamined by both Molybdenum Target X-ray and Color Doppler Ultrasoundindependently. Results: According to this study Molybdenum Target X-ray showed anefficiency of50.9%compared to23.6%for Color Doppler Ultrasoundin detectingmicrocaplcification, the statistical results disclosed significant statistics meaning betweenthem(P<0.05). The diagnostic accuracy of molybdenum target X-ray73.6%(81/110),which was lower than that of ultrasonography was84.5%(93/110),compared withpathological results. There was no apparent difference between them(P>0.05). In thegroup of benign lesions, Color Doppler Ultrasound(90.3%) have a higher accuracy thanMolybdenum Target X-ray(69.4%), the statistical results disclosed significant statisticsmeaning between them (P<0.05). Conclusions:1. Mammography Can show calcificationsignificantly better than ultrasonography, especially microcalcification of malignantlesions.2. A high accuracy could be achieved by using combination of ultrasonographyand mammography. Both molybdenum mammography and ultrasonography are importanttechniques for evaluation of breast lesions. Combining molybdenum mammography andultrasonography Can compensate each other, and improve the rate of diagnosis.3. In thegroup of benign lesions, ultrasonography is better than molybdenum mammography. |
