The Expression And Clinical Significance Of Rhoa And Nm23-H1in Different Cervical Tissues | Posted on:2013-02-09 | Degree:Master | Type:Thesis | Country:China | Candidate:J Dai | Full Text:PDF | GTID:2234330374992640 | Subject:Surgery | Abstract/Summary: | PDF Full Text Request | Objective: To study the expression of RhoA and nm23-H1in thenormal cervical epithelium(NCE), cervical intraepithelial neoplasia(CIN)and squamous carcinomas of cervix(SCC), and to analyze therelationship of RhoA,nm23-H1with squamous carcinomas of cervixdevelopment and progression. Methods: Immunohistochemistry SP wasused to measure the expression of RhoA and nm23-H1in66cases ofSCC,28cases of CIN and10cases of NCE. Results:1.The expressionof RhoA that could hardly be detected in NEC, RhoA positive-expressionrate in CIN and SCC were39.29%and72.73%separately, theirexpressions have significant differences(P<0.05). nm23-H1positive-expression rate in SCC was54.55%, which was lower than it in CIN(90%) and NCE tissues (71.43%, P<0.05), and there was nosignificant difference in nm23-H1between NCE and CINgroups(P>0.05). RhoA positive-expression associated significantly withtumor cell diferentiation and lymph node metastasis (P<0.05).nm23-H1positive-expression associated significantly with lymph node metastasis(P<0.05). There was no relationship between RhoA and nm23-H1positive-expression in SCC (rsï¼â€“0.235,P>0.05).Conclusion: Theincreased expression or loss of RhoA and nm23-H1may play animportant role in the development and progression of the cerviealcarcinoma, which is associated with poor prognosis.... | Keywords/Search Tags: | RhoA, nm23-H1, squamous carcinoma of cervix, immunohistochemistry | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
