we prepared3’and3,3’-substituted BINOLs by new synthesis approach and found a simple method for the crystal bring-up. Comparing to synthesis approach of the3’and3,3’-substituted BINOL catalysts containing alkyl alcohol reported in the literatures by General coupling reactions,we synthesized new small molecule catalyst of three chiral binaphthol derivatives with optically active pure and improved the yields. We were trying to build the response reaction model of the asymmetric Catalytic addition by3’-substituted BINOL, Unfortunately, we failed. We are also synthesizing some new catalysts of chiral BINOL derivatives.In addition, the enantiomeric excess (ee) of linear propargyl alcohol synthesized by simple chiral BINOL-Ti catalyst system is up to95%. This linear alkynol were successfully used in synthesis of the optical material. This method is the rare specific applications of BINOL-Ti catalyst system, showing its potential value. Beside that, this simple catalytic system provide more synthetic method ideas in the optical material for us.
