Tuberculosis Epidemiological Survey And The Analysis On Its Affecting Factors E Students In Xiangtan

Objectives:To understand the epidemic status of tuberculosis among college students in Xiangtan from2006to2011, to explore the influence factors of the tuberculosis and to provide scientific reference for the college tuberculosis control through establishing university TB prevention and control measuresMethods:In this study, study sample is obtained by using cluster sampling and random sampling method. Four Colleges in Xiangtan were randomly selected as a sample, a total of269study cases who have registered in college Preventive Health Care from2006to2011were obtained. In this study, SPSS13.0statistical software is used to build up a database and complete the statistical analysis. Constitute ratio is used to describe the internal structure of count data. Ratio is used to describe the occurrence frequency of an event. The u test is used to examine the discrepancy of the incidence of different gender and type source.%2test is respectively used to examine the proportion of patients’gender, type source, outcomes of different treatments and so on.A case-control study was conducted.57registered patients were selected from Jan.12011to Dec.122011. Cases of other students in the same college and the same grade were selected as control. Factors census, smoking, drinking, physical exercise, sleeping, surfing online, vegetable obtaining, meat obtaining (including fish), living expenses, living environment, window openings sheet’s shining, knowledge of paroxysm, injection for prevention, family medical history、 and tuberculosis close contacting were analyzed by conditional univariate and multivariate logistic regression (a入=0.10, a出=0.15).If there is no special note, all P values are the bilateral probability and test level is0.05.Results:TB patients among colleges in Xiangtan are on tne rise with an incidence rate from36.80/10million in2006to64.86/10million in2011, and the smear-positive rate is on the decrease from46.88%in2006,3.02%in2011. Among TB patients in Xiangtan college, male to female ratio was1.80:1, the rural area to urban area is1:1.49. they are not completely consistent in the last6years. Yet the biggest different is in2011.Students TB patients are mostly infiltrative pulmonary tuberculosis in Xiangtan., then tuberculous pleuritis. they usually found out the diseases by seeing a doctor. There isn’t many exceptions. The highest morbidity rates are March, September and December. Most of them did their first-time medical treatment in the hospital attached to school, then in hospitals. And they affirmed the disease in tuberculosis center. with a high cure rate, Students TB patients in Xiangtan got the unified medical treatment.and the treatment is obviously prior to family supervision in choosing the right treatment.The results of χ2test shows the8factors:census, smoking, excising, sleeping,surfing the internet,meat obtaining (including fish), sheet’s Cleaning and contact with patients, tuberculosis closely contact which are related to its diagnosesThe two-Category Conditional Logistic Regression Analysis of Affecting Factors of Tuberculosis, there are5important factors: physical exercise(x6), sleeping(x7), fresh vegetable obtaining(x9), sheets’ cleaning(xi4), contact with patients(x18). The last2factors (x14and X18) had the positive value:1.253、2.634. OR value are larger than I, they are:3.500、13.929,they are of significant of statistics, it provides increasing chance of being affected. And sleeping (x7), vegetable obtaining(x9), had the negative value:-2.979、-1.231. OR value are larger than I, they are:0.051-,0.292,they are of significant of statistics, it provides decreasing chance of being affected.Conclusions:Though college students in Xiangtan enjoy a lower rate than the average in Hunan Province, the rates are on the increase., and the smear positive rate are getting down. Infiltrative type is the main style。 And boys suffer a higher morbidity than girls.Students TB patients found their disease mainly by seeing a doctor, Most of them did their first-time medical treatment in the hospital attached to school, then in hospitals. And they affirmed the disease in tuberculosis center. Students TB patients in Xiangtan get the unified medical treatment.In college students’daily life, sheets cleaning and close contact with TB patients are the main way they get affected. While enough sleep is a factor to protect them from the disease,and another important factor is obtaining fresh vegetable.
