| Pelvic fracture result from traffic accident is a common fracture in clinic, which mayinduce the Ventral root avulsion or ventral injury with the functional impairment ofmovement and feeling of lower limb. Nowadays, we have no efficient method in surgically todeal with them. Therefore, the treatment of sacral plexus avulsion injured is still an emphases. To further study the treatment of sacral plexus root injured, we need more nerve as newpower source. Rat is the ideal model for study of sacral plexus root injured. In this animalexperiment, we observe the data of the L2nerve by the microscope. Then we cut off the L2nerve root of the rat, and use many ways to evaluate the effect for movement of lower limb.Part OneObjective: Observe the L2nerve root of the rat, then record the direction of travel ofthe L2nerve. Combined with the EMG to determine the major muscle be controlled by theL2nerve.Methods:20adult SD rats were dissected to discuss the L2nerve root. Combined withthe EMG to determine the electric potential of the major muscle, and record the values.Separate nerve and muscle to the target muscles. Results: Through the anatomic observation, the L2nerve root pass through theintervertebral foramen, through the iliopsoas muscle to retroperitoneal, along the iliopsoasmuscle downside, which import the femoral nerve. The EMG testing show that the L2nerveroot control a part of the quadriceps femoris. Part twoObjective: Cut off the L2nerve root on the right side, and0bserve the motor functionof the lower limb in SD rats. Methods: Choose40SD rats weight250-300g, adult and male, do not open the lamina, exposed L2nerve root and cut off it, establish the L2nerve root cut off animal model, and theright side is experimental side, compared to the left side, take animal models rats in4weeksafter injury,6weeks,8weeks,12weeks,16weeks, Observe the general behavior, the EMGand the muscle section HE staining and trichrome staining. Results: Unilateral cut off the L2nerve root on SD rats have no significant difference inthe motor function of the lower. |
