Objective:To observe the clinic effect of dexamethasone by different administration pathways for HBV associated with (Sub)acute-on-chronie liver failureMethods:Eighty-three cases were randomly divided into a routine treatment group(n=30); a acupuncture injection group (n=24) and a vein injection group (n=29). routine treatment group injection were treated with routine medical treatment, The acupuncture injection group were treated with injection of small dose of dexamethasone (2-5mg) into Zusanli (S36)on basic of routine medical treatment, The vein injection group were treated with injection of small dose of dexamethasone (5mg) on basic of routine medical treatment,1time each day and lasting for1-2weeks. The clinical symptoms, the time of icterus decline, the falling of TBil and the rising of PTA of every day and HBV-DNA were compared between the two groups. Results:The total effective rate was75%in the acupuncture injection group,70%in the vein injection group and40%in the control group with significant difference between the thtree groups (p<0.05); In the acupuncture injection group and vein injection group in clinical symptoms,The time of icterus decline, The falling of TBil and the rising of PTA of every day were better than the routine treatment group (p<0.05). but there is no difference between the acupuncture injection group and the vein injection group except infection and bleeding; The ratio of infection and bleeding in the acupuncture injection group is lower than that in the vein injection groupConclusion:small dose of dexamethasone Zusanli (S36) acupoint injection has a better therapeutic effect on the early stage of liver failure than the vein injection group...
