Objective:Comparison the effect of Zu San Li (ST36) point mild moxibustion, and acupuncture treatment. Through clinical trial find the best way to increase cure rate. Preliminary analysis moxibustion Zu San Li (ST36) point can play a significant effect of the possible mechanism of action.Method:Cases selected from April2011to January2012January Jiang Su Provincial Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital of Acupuncture wards and outpatient departments. Patients are in line with diagnosis peripheral facial total60cases. Use facial nerve rehabilitation assessment standards and efficacy standards to assess facial recovery situation.Results:After T-test for SIG before treatment P>0.05there is no statically point in the comparison. Treatment after two weeks, the comparison is P≦0.05. Treatment after four weeks, the comparison is P≦0.01. The treatment group gives94%cure rate, and the control group gives87%cure rate. This tells Peripheral facial paralysis treats with moxibustion Zu San Li (ST36) points and routine acupuncture group both gives good result, if we moxibustion Zu San Li (ST36) points gives better result.Conclusion:Peripheral facial paralysis treats with moxibustion Zu San Li (ST36) points significantly better than the routine acupuncture group, it is worthy and we can promote use it.
