The Animal Experiment And Clinical Research Of Treatment Of Cyclomastopathy By Externally Using Chinese Medical Cataplasm (XianHuDingGui Powder)According To Menstrual Cycle

Purpose:To objectively evaluate the efficacy and safety of cyclomastopathy treatment by dong the animal experiment and clinical research, so as to discuss the mechanism of how the Chinese medical cataplasm (XianHuDingGui Powder) taking effects, and to lay the foundation of the further development of new drugs.Methods:The model of HMG was induced by intramuscular injecting benzoate estradiol and lutein. Choosing40healthy and non-pregnant HMG SD rats, divide them into four groups at random, and each group has10mice respectively. Group1was treated by externally using XianHuDingGui cataplasm, group2was given Ruzengning pills, the treatment of group3included both two therapeutic methods, and group4is model group. After30days uninterruptedly treating, the curative effect can be evaluated by observing the macrocosm condition and the breast appearance of the HMG rats. After executing the rats, compare the pathological configuration of galactophore tissue and the proportion of positive expression of ER and PR. Weigh the gross weight of uterus, and calculate the uterus index. Meanwhile, the clinical research of treatment of cyclomastopathy by externally using Chinese medical cataplasm (XianHuDingGui Powder) according to menstrual cycle can be carried out. Breast pain, the number and size of the tumor, and the thickness of gland measured by B-ultrasound, were observed before and after the treatment, to judge the curative effect. And through the blood, urine, excrement routine, liver and kidney function, ECG examination, the safety of XianHuDingGui cataplasm can be confirmed. Results:1.The animal experiment shows that the HMG rats have a series of changes in different aspects. The nipples are swelling and hyperemia in appearance, the uterine edema and the increase of uterus index is obviously. Pathologic hyperplasias of acinar, catheter, lobular are visible in breast biopsy of HMG rats. Through external and oral treatment, the above pathological changes were significantly reversed (P<0.05or0.01). For the remission of symptoms like breast pain or breast tumor, the external group was proved better than oral group. On the contrary, for the decrease of uterus index and positive expression of ER&PR, the oral group was better than external group.2. The clinical research shows that, the treatment of cyclomastopathy by externally using Chinese medical cataplasm (XianHuDingGui Powder) according to menstrual cycle was definitely curable, which has an efficiency of96.7%. Compared with the Ruzengning group, there’s no significant different in curative effects between two groups. During the process of the treatment, there’s no obvious adverse reaction of using XianHuDingGui cataplasm reported.3. To be summarized, using XianHuDingGui cataplasm to treat cyclomastopathy was proved to be efficient and safely. It also interprets the TCM’s essence of treating internal diseases by using external methods. Besides, the cataplasm has the advantages of convenience and with fewer side effects; it’s a new type of dosage which is worth clinically popularizing. According to this research, the function and station of the external treatment on mammary glands has been comprehensively evaluated. The results of this research also lay the foundation of the further development of new drugs.
