A Clinical Comparative Analysis Of Two Kinds Of Techniques For Closing Laparoscopic Trocar Wounds

Objective: To comparison of two kinds of techniques for closing laparoscopic trocarwounds. Methods:437patients undergoing laparoscopic cholecystectomy at our hospitalfrom February2010to February2011were enrolled in this retrospective study. All thepatients fall into two groups, B group was closed with traditional hand sew(n=214);Agroup was closed with self-made line carrier anatomically(n=223).The closure time wasassessed. The follow-up period was12-24months for any complication at these trocarsites. Results: Closure time of A group was significantly shorter than B group. The rate oftrocar site subcutaneous nodes、trocar site bleeding were higher in B group,and thedifference of two groups has statistical significance. The rate of trocar site pain、trocar siteinfection、trocar site hernia were higher in B group,but the difference of two groups hasno statistical significance. Conclusion: Closed the trocar sites with self-made line carriercan get a good closed effect，and can reduce the difficulty and time of the traditionalsuture.It also can avoid the complications by traditional closure methods effectively, so ithas certain value of clinical applications.
