Objective: The China Cancer Research Foundation in2009recommended that thedifferent regions use different screening programs on the economic conditions. The choiceof screening test in addition to security requirements of non-invasive, quick and easy, sensitivity and specificity, the benefit is taken more and more attention. Karamay Cityguaranteeing the crowd and some of the medical unit population as objects in this study, tobe tested by liquid-based cytology (referred to as LCT) and HPV DNA HC-II detection(referred to as HC-Ⅱ or HPV DNA), aimed at understanding HPV infection and cervicalcancer and precancerous lesions in the local women, to comparative and analysis thecost-effectiveness and cost-benefit in different screening programs to find out the suitablescreening program for the local. Methods: Use the Epidate3.1data to create databases.Use the SPSS17.0to analysis the databases. By the method of field survey, get thescreening costs from the hospital to determine the costs of the different stages of cervicalcancer, and compare the cost-effectiveness and cost-benefit methods of different screeningprograms.Results:(1)The cost of the three screening programs as follows: LCT cost190yuan once; HC-Ⅱ cost300yuan once; both LCT and HC-Ⅱ cost490yuan once.(2)Forthe screening of healthy people, HC-Ⅱt esting cost lowest in10years(.3)The effect of thethree screening programs: The positive number was11and ratio was0.81%by LCTscreening; the population of high-risk types of HC-Ⅱ was259, the positive rate of19.17%by HC-Ⅱ; the positive number was260while ratio was19.25%by both HC-Ⅱ and LCTscreening.(4)The cost-effectiveness of the three screening programs is HC-Ⅱwhich is1564.86yuan/person.(5)The HC-Ⅱscreening can save5684394.34yuan.,the B/C is5.14:1in decade. Conclusion: Cervical cancer is the disease can be detected and curedearly by screening. But different screening programs have the different cost and effective. According to the research in the three screening programs, the HC-Ⅱscreening has thehigher effectiveness-cost ratio and the greater benefit-cost ratio relatively. Because of theeconomic condition in Karamay, recommend the HC-Ⅱ screening program to the localpopulation.
