Objective:To evaluate clinical value of virtual touch tissues quantification(VTQ) innoninvasive assessment of non-alcoholic fatty liver (NAFLD) and liver fibosis.Methods:109cases of non-alcoholic fatty liver disease and62cases liver fibosis(S1~S3),30cases liver cirrhosis(S4)were included in this study.70healthy people regarded as thecontrol group by virtual touch tissues quantification of the liver tissue quantitativedetermination in shear wave velocity. Results:The average velocity of liver shear wavewas respectively1.07m/s in patients with NAFLD,1.62m/s in patients with liver fibosisand2.36m/s in patients with liver cirrhosis.1.12m/s in the group of healthy control, except no significant difference was found in the mean value of liver shear wave velocitybetween NAFLD and the group of healthy control(P>0.05).The other liver shear wavevelocity of interest groups elastic parameters significant different(P<0.05).The areas underROC curves were0.80(95%Cl:0.743-0.860) for S1~S3and0.969(95%Cl:0.948-0.990)forS4in our study. The optimal cutoff value was1.30m/s for S1-S3, with a sensitivity of81%,specificity of79%,and1.76m/s for S4, With a sensitivity of90%,speeifieity of91%.Conclusion:This study indicated that VTQ not be used as quantitative judgmentsNAFLD and healthy controls, up to now liver biopsy remains the gold standard ofNAFLD. VTQ technique could measure the velocity of shear wave in liver tissuenon-invasively and would provide a new feasible and accurate way to quantitativelyevaluate liver fibosis and liver cirrhosis.
