Object: To ananlyze the risk factors of pulmonary invasive fungal infection inEmergency Intensive Care Unit(EICU) of our hospital, to identify which risk factors arethe independent risk factors of pulmonary invasive fungal infection in EICU, as to exploreprophylactic measures. Methods:The clinical data of35cases of EICU patients who werediagnosed as pulmonary invasive fungal infection from Jan.2010to Dec.2011wasanalyzed with the retrospective study and investigation, and another clinical data of35cases of EICU patients who were not diagnosed as pulmonary invasive fungal infection inthe corresponding time period was analyzed, too. Univariate analysis and multiple Logisticregression analysis of15potential risk factors of invasive fungal infections,to identifywhich risk factors are the independent risk factors of pulmonary invasive fungal infection.Result:Univariate analysis of15potential risk factors of invasive fungal infections, diabetes mellitus, implantation of deep veins catheter,broad-spectrum antibiotic therapylonger than2weeks, broad-spectrum antibiotic therapy more than2categories,glucocorticoid therapy were identified as risk factors of invasive fungal infection, multipleLogistic regression analysis of the risk factors, only diabetes mellitus, implantation of deepveins catheter, broad-spectrum antibiotic therapy longer than2weeks, broad-spectrumantibiotic therapy more than2categories,were identified as independent risk factors. Conclusion:In EICU, the monitoring to pathogenic bacteria should be strengthened forthe patients who have potential risk factors of invasive fungal infections. We should takethe proper preventive measures to achieve the destination of controlling fungal infection.
