Objective: To analyze the risk factors of allogeneic stem cell transplantation(allo-HSCT) for chroninc myeloid leukemia (CML) in an attempt to avoid transplantrisks. Methods: A total of70CML patients received allo-PBSCT were analyzedretrospectively. The risk analysis was based on the EBMT score (gratwohl score) whichincluded donor type, age of patients, disease status before transplantation, donor/recipientsex match and time interval between diagnosis to allo-HSCT.Patients were divided into2risk groups based on their EBMT score: low risk (score0-2), high risk (score≥3). Results:The median follow up duration was42.5(5-96) months. The estimated8-year overallsurvival (8y-OS), Transplant-related mortality (8y-TRM) and relapse rate (8y-RR)were87.8%,7.5%and12.4%respectively, The8y-OS, TRM and RR were88.3%,8.1%and16.1%in the low risk group being significantly superior to high-risk group86.1%、13.8%and11.3%(p=0.4,0.337and0.4for OS, TRM and RR respectively). Conclusion:The EBMT risk score can not effectively predict the overall outcome of patients inXinJiang Provience in our study, we need to enlarge our sample number extend thefollow-up time to check this score.
