| Purpose:Observation of external wash of Chinese medicine decoction on Pillsbury classification in â…¡-â…£ degrees of acne patients clinical curative effect and to reduce the adverse reaction evaluation, confirming the application of Chinese herbs in combination with photodynamic therapy for the treatment of moderate and severe acne inflammation, detumescence, having to remove oil and fat, killing Propionibacterium acne and thus shorten the course of disease, improving curative effect, reducing the rate of recurrence and effect, for clinical safety effective combination of Chinese and Western medicine in treating moderate and severe acne and provide a theoretical basis.Clinical observation1. All cases for2011June to2011December, Wuhan NO.1hospital dermatology clinic in41patients. All cases were consistent with the diagnostic criteria and exclusion criteria. According to the visiting sequence were randomly divided into two groups: Traditional Chinese medicine combined with photodynamic therapy group22people, photodynamic therapy group19. The traditional Chinese medicine combined with photodynamic therapy group in â…¡6cases, â…¢7cases, â…£9cases; photodynamic therapy group in â…¡ 7cases, â…¢5cases, â…£7cases. Two groups of patients in age, sex, duration of illness, treatment before rating were not statistically significant difference (P>0.05).2. Chinese medicine combined with photodynamic therapy group after photodynamic therapy using Chinese herbal medicine washing the face,1to2times daily. Photodynamic therapy group only underwent photodynamic therapy. Photodynamic therapy every2weeks for1times. After the end of treatment1times monthly follow-up, all patients were followed up for3months.3External washing with Chinese herbal medicine prescription for coix seed10g,10g,10g, Flos Lonicerae Radix Cacumen Platycladi10g or pellet formula of traditional Chinese medicine:coix seed2pack,2packs,2packs of Scutellaria baicalensis honeysuckle, arborvitae leaf2pack, after each treatment Chinese traditional medicine adding concentrated fried or boiling water flushing, while hot water vapor to the affected area to smoke suitable water temperature, when clean the affected area for10minutes, each cleaning, daily morning and evening.4Two groups use the score method, respectively, before treatment, after each treatment and follow-up according to changes in conditions after the score to judge the curative effect. During the period of treatment to observe the curative effect and adverse reaction.5Using SPSS12.0statistical software for data processing. Condition score results using t test and the total efficiency of using X2test.Result1. To evaluate curative effect (1) In two groups before photodynamic therapy was not significantly different (X2=0.15, P>0.1). The1after therapy (X2=1.31, P>0.1), after the2treatment (X2=0.21, P>0.1) and3after treatment (X2=2.10, P>0.1) acne lesions area and severity index score showed no significant difference;(2) In the4after treatment, the use of external wash of Chinese medicine in subgroups of patients with acne vulgaris area and severity index score was significantly lower than that without the use of external wash of Chinese medicine in the patient group (X2=3.15, P<0.05);(3) Washing with Chinese herbal medicine combined with photodynamic therapy for acne patients2weeks after the total efficiency of9.1%, after4weeks of45.5%,6weeks after the8week of66.7%, increased to100%; photodynamic group in the total efficiency was second,4,6,8weeks respectively15.8%,31.6%,41.7%and91.7%. Traditional Chinese medicine combined with photodynamic group effect is better than that of photodynamic group. But the two groups, the incidence of adverse reactions compared no significant difference (P>0.05).2Adverse drug reaction evaluations(1) Traditional Chinese medicine combined with photodynamic group of patients with erythema, swelling and pain (84.5%)(53.5%), desquamation (78.9%),(69%) response of acne, pigmentation (11.3%), facial pruritus (7%) and other symptoms; photodynamic group of patients with erythema, swelling and pain (95.2%)(69.4%), desquamation (91.9%),(75.8%) response of acne, pigmentation (30.6%),(9.7%) symptoms such as facial pruritus. The two groups, the incidence of adverse reactions compared no significant difference (P>0.05). But pigmentation is a significant difference between the two groups (P<0.05).(2) Adverse reaction, erythema after sustained time:there are significant differences between the two groups (X2=4.27, P<0.05); swelling pain after duration:between the two groups was very significant difference (X2=9.54, P<0.01); appeared after scaling the duration:two group there are significant differences between (X2=4.37, P<0.05); the reactivity of acne after duration: between the two groups was very significant difference (X2=8.13, P<0.01); color sedimentation duration:between the two groups was very significant difference (X2=9.69, P<0.01); appear facial pruritus after duration:between the two groups had no significant difference (X2=1.27, P>0.1).Conclusionâ‘ With washing with Chinese herbal medicine combined with photodynamic therapy for acne, treatment for1to3times can relieve clinical symptoms.â‘¡The two groups after4times of treatment acne lesions area and severity index score by washing with Chinese herbal medicine combined with photodynamic therapy group was better than that of photodynamic therapy group (P<0.05), description of treatment4Times after washing with Chinese herbal medicine can rapidly reduce facial acne lesions area and severity.â‘¢The total effective rate of the therapy, washing with Chinese herbal medicine combined with photodynamic therapy and photodynamic therapy group there was no difference (P>0.05).â‘£The therapy, the incidence of adverse reaction by washing with Chinese herbal medicine combined with photodynamic therapy group were less than that of photodynamic therapy group, The two group, the incidence of adverse reactions compared no significant difference (P>0.05). But pigmentation is significant differences between the two groups (P<0.05). The adverse reactions such as erythema, swelling and pain, desquamative response of acne, hyperpigmentation duration, washing with Chinese herbal medicine combined with photodynamic therapy group less than photodynamic therapy group (P<0.05), illustrated by washing with Chinese herbal medicine in reducing the incidence of adverse reactions, but without obvious effect, can effectively reduce the adverse reaction after sustained time. |
