Clinical Research Of Expression Of DOG1in Gastrointestinal Stromal Tumors

Objective: To investigate the diagnostic value of DOG1ingastrointestinal stromal tumors (GIST) by detection of DOG1expression.Methods: Postoperative specimens of112cases with GIST, diagnostedby Diagnostic Criteria of the Chinese gastrointestinal stromal tumors,were selected from Affiliated Hospital of Luzhou MedicalCollege,Subsidiary of Chinese Medicine Hospital of Luzhou MedicalCollege and Luzhou people’s Hospital, from January2009to December2011. The34cases of leiomyoma,30cases of normal gastrointestinalmucosa were selected as control group. Immunohistochemical Envisiontechnique was used to assess the expression of DOG1in112cases ofGIST in comparison with34cases of Leiomyoma and30cases ofnormal gastrointestinal mucosa. The judgment of positive expression wasthat yellow-brown granules was detected in cell membrane andcytoplasm.Results:（1）Of112GIST:①Age:23-78，average age of（55.7±10.5），median age58，21-30years old in2cases (1.8%),31-40years old in6cases (5.4%),41-50years old in27cases (24.2%),51-60years old in39cases (34.8%),61-70years old in30cases(26.8%),71-80years old in8cases (7.1%);②sex: male61cases(54.5%),female51cases (45.5%);③site:51cases (45.5%) was found in stomach,31cases (27.7%) was found in intestine,30cases (26.8%) wasfound in parenteral position.④risk strstification of tumor (NIH "riskclassification of Primary GIST resection")：very low risk7case（s6.3%），low risk22cases（19.6%），risk37cases（33.0%），high risk46cases（41.1%）；⑤Cytological classification:spindle cell type76cases（67.9%），epithelioid cell type25cases（22.3%），hybrid11cases（9.8%）;(2)Positive expression rate Of DOG1: GIST group:96.4%(108/112),leiomyoma group:only1of34cases,Gastrointestinalmucosal:0cases was positive of30cases.The specificity of DOG1was98.4%。Of112GIST,DOG1expression was not related to the sex、age、site、the risk strstification of tumor or cytological classification of thepatient,(P＞0.05).（4）Of112GIST：positive rate of CD117was90.2%(101/112),DOG1and CD117positive expression of98cases,thepositive rate was83.1%.With Χ2test,P＞0.05,the difference was notstatistically significant,that the positive rate of the two methodsquite.(5)Of112GIST:77cases of CD34positive,the positiveRate was68.8%,DOG1and CD34positive expression of77cases,thepositive rate was67.0%.Conclusion:1.the DOG1...
