The Study On TFF3in Hepatocellular Carcinoma Expression And Significance

Objective:To discuss the prospects of TFF3as a tumor marker of hepatocellular carcinoma, through testing the expression of trefoil factor3(TFF3) in serum and tissue of patients with hepatocellular carcinoma.Methods:The double antibody sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) was used to detect TFF3in serum of the subjects, including28cases of HCC,25healthy people,34cases of hepatitis B patients and22cases of liver cirrhosis patients. The immunohistochemistry staining (S-P) method was adopted to detect the expression of TFF3in normal liver tissue, cirrhosis of the liver tissue and HCC tissue.Results:1. Serum TFF3concentrations of normal control group, hepatitis B, cirrhosis and HCC respectively were608.87±236.45ng/mL,800.90±384.10ng/mL,1659.09±624.39ng/mL,2011.97±1062.10ng/mL. HCC serum TFF3concentration and cirrhosis group were higher than the hepatitis B group (P<0.05), and normal control group (P<0.05), the difference of HCC serum TFF3concentration and cirrhosis has no statistically significant (P=0.62).2. The expression of TFF3was correlation among the tumor of diameter and metastasis (P<0.05).3. The normal liver tissue had no TFF3and AFP expression; there were2 cases (8.33%) of TFF3positive expression in cirrhosis group, and4cases (16.67%) AFP-positive;15cases (57.69%) TFF3-positive HCC,11cases (42.31%) AFP-positive; TFF3and AFP expression in the normal control group, the cirrhosis group and HCC group were different (P<0.05).4. TFF3expression is related to the HCC tumor diameter (P=0.038), but there was no correlation among age, sex and the degree of tumor differentiation.Conclusion:The expression of TFF3in the serum and tissue of hepatocellular carcinoma may be an important index of HCC progress, and might be clinically useful serum biomarkers for HCC detction and metastasis Predietion.
