Objective:To study the effect of Zhuangguhuoxue decoction combined withvascularized iliac bone grafting in treatment for ARCO stageâ…¡-â…¢ osteonecrosis of thefemoral head.Method:Forty patients with49hips being at ARCO stage â…¡-â…¢ were randomlydivided into two guoups.The treatment group(21patients with28hips) were treated withZhuangguhuoxue decoction for three course of treatment after two weeks of vascularizediliac bone grafting surgery.The control group (19patients with21hips) were operated withvascularized iliac bone grafting. Observed the changes of Harris hip score and X-ray filmimage.Results:At12months after treatment,the promotion of Harris hip score and X-rayfilm image in treatment group were significantly better than that in control group.Conclusion: Zhuangguhuoxue decoction combined with vascularized iliac bonegrafting is more effective than vascularized iliac bone grafting in treatment for ARCOstageâ…¡-â…¢ osteonecrosis of the femoral head.
