ObjectiveTo study the relationship between the some of blood test items, including triglyceride, total cholesterol, high density lipoprotein cholesterol, low-density lipoproteincholesterol, very low density lipoprotein cholesterol, uric acid, homocysteine, fibrinogen, prothrombin time, activated partial thromboplastin time, blood platelet, white blood cells and neutrophile percent, and the sudden sensorineural hearing loss. Toidentify the necessary blood test in order to guide the clinic therapy.Methods98patients with sudden sensorineural hearing loss (SSNHL) that residential treatment inour department during October2009to March2012were chosen as the object of study(experimental group). All cases diagnosed by the standard of “Sudden deafnessdiagnosis and treatment guidelines in2005” and meet the following conditions: Allcases complete relevant inspection, such as middle ear and mastoid HRCT, auditorybrainstem response, acoustic immittance, auditory multiple-frequency steady stateevoked responses, to exclude simulated deafness, middle ear disease, acoustic neuroma,et al; All patients hadn’t systemic disease, such as hypertensive disease, diabetes and soon; All patients are not the sensorineural hearing loss of clear etiology, such as Menieredisease, Hunt syndrome, ototoxic deafness, infected deafness, traumatic deafness, et al.We select98patients with deviation of nasal septum, who healthy and had no hearingloss during the same period as comparison (control group), then analyze the differenceof every blood test item between the two groups to know if it has statistical significance. Results:Statistical data in this thesis show that the difference of some blood test items between two groups have statistical significance, such as triglyceride, total cholesterol, very lowdensity lipoprotein cholesterol, uric acid, homocysteine, fibrinogen, prothrombin time, activated partial thromboplastin time, blood platelet, P<0.05, but other items, like highdensity lipoprotein cholesterol, low-density lipoprotein cholesterol, white blood cellsand neutrophile percent have not statistical significance, P>0.05.Conclusion:Triglyceride, total cholesterol, very low density lipoprotein cholesterol, uric acid, homocysteine, fibrinogen, prothrombin time, activated partial thromboplastin time andblood platelet in blood maybe participate in the development of mechanisms of SSNHL,we should pay attention to them in our clinical practice. This paper shows the highdensity lipoprotein cholesterol, low-density lipoprotein cholesterol, white blood cellsand neutrophile percent in blood has no obvious relevance, and should be study further.
