Objective:This subject is to observe the clinical efficacy of treating deficiency constipation in post-stroke patients through abdominal electroacupuncture. Another is to observe the changing of clinical symptoms before an after treatment. Seeking for a therapy which is more efficiency and cheaper in curing deficiency constipation by this study. Methods:The post-stroke patients with deficiency constipation were randomly divided into the treatment group and the control group. On the basal treatment, the control group was given the traditional acupuncture, and the treatment group was given the treatment of abdominal electroacupuncture. Treating treatment group with fourteen points such as bilateral Tianshu, bilateral Daheng, bilateral Fujie. bilateral Pishu, bilateral Qihai, and left Shuidao, left Guilai, left Waishuidao, and left Waiguilai. After disinfecting the local skin, do the acupuncture quickly with the skin. Thrust and twist the needles with even rein forcing-reducing method until the Qi arrived. Then connect right Fujie and right Daheng, right Tianshu and left Tianshu, left Daheng and left Fujie, left Waishuidao and left Waiguilai with electroacupuncture, once a day, every30minutes. After a course of treatment (12days), observe the clinical symptoms of constipation, record score results and analyze the therapeutic effect of the two groups. Results:The two groups were comparable. Comparing the constipation scores before and after the course, significant difference could be seen on the two groups. Comparing difference between the constipation scores, significant difference could be seen on the two groups. There was significant difference of the constipation efficacy between the two groups after the course. The cure rate of the treatment group is33.3%; the total effective rate of the treatment group is96.7%. The cure rate of the control group is20%; the total effective rate of the control group i s86.7%Conclusion:In treating deficiency constipation after stroke, the efficacy of two groups was certain. But the efficacy of treatment group was obvious better than the efficacy of the control group. |
