| As the national health awareness raising, the aging population increasing, and the cure of the new policy drive, portable physical parameter acquisition system have been paied more and more attention to.Using DSP to collect basic physiological parameters such as ECG, blood pressure, oxygen saturation and pulse rate is a hot research topic in the applications of DSP. After several physiological parameter acquisition modules were recommended. A DSP-based portable physiological parameter acquisition system architecture was given to build a common platform.The TMS320C5000DSP platform provides a broad portfolio of the industry’s lowest power.16-bit DSPs, TMS320VC5504/05, TMS320C5504/05/14/15, TMS320C5532/33/34/35fixed-point Digital Signal Processors (DSP) which based on TMS320C55x V3.3CPU are designed for ultra-low power applications and suitable for portable medical devices. In this paper, this DSP was discussed from four aspects:the CPU architecture, power consumption, on-chip resources, memory mapped.One of the features of the portable physiological data acquisition system is a low power consumption, the specific solution from the main processor (DSP) power management to power management of the system peripheral modules was discussed, and the summary about the content of hardware design was made.The Code Composer Studio v4(CCSv4) and C5000Chip Support Library (CSL) were introduced, on this basis, the example about how to use CSL is given. In order to adapt to the efficient programming requirement, discusses the procedure of the method of use the usage about Auto Program Tester.Combination of Filter Design&Analysis Tool FDATool and Tightly-Coupled FFT Hardware Accelerator, the filter instance of ECG signal as an example in physiological data acquisition system. Summary was given about front-end communication of physiological parameters by using the SPI as an example, then focus on the USB2.0, LCD about the DSP which based on TMS320C55x V3.3CPU. Finally, the structure of SD card file system and the access to the information collection about PC were discussed.In the end, this paper summarizes the work which has been done, and gives propect of future research and development ideas around the portable physical parameter acquisition system. |
