Effect Analysis Of Percutaneous Laser Disk Decompression Combined With Ozone Therapy For The Treatment On Cervical Radiculopathy

ObjectiveTo explore the mechanism,the security and clinical efficacy of the treatment ofpercutaneous laser disk decompression(PLDD) combined with injections of ozoneon cervical radiculopathy.And to provide a new mentality and a method for minimalinvasive treating nerve root cervical vertebra on clinical.Methods100patients diagnosed with Cervical radiculopathy were chosen (they were treatedin Guangdong Province the second People’s Hospital from June2009to October2011)，and were divided randomly into two groups. Group A (N=50，treatment forPLDD)； Group B(N=50，treatment for PLDD combined with injections of ozone).took a telephone follow up visit for3months.The VAS Score，stretch-back rate ofdisc and MacNab evaluation were tested at the certain time points before and aftertreatment. Experimental data were compared with paired T test and X2test，taking Pvalues at P <0.05and P<0.01level for the test.Results1. Before the treatment，the VAS Score between B group and A group have nostatistical significance（P>0.05）；2. Compared with Group A，the VAS Score after treatment of Group B have statistical significance (P<0.05)；3. Compared with A，stretch-back rate of disc ascended significantly in B group(P<0.05) after treatment for one month；4. Three months after treatment，the clinical evaluation of MacNab have statisticalsignificance (P<0.05) compared with A group. Group A:68%、Group B:86%。ConclusionThe result of the experiment show that combination treatment with PLDD andinjections of ozone is superior to PLDD in suppression of stretch-back rate ofintervertebral disc and clinical effeccy. The combination treatment is quicklyeffective，safe，short time of therapy，high rate of efficiency etc. and can improvethe effeccy of cervical radiculopathy. So，It is worth promotion in clinic.
