Objectives:(1) To probe the application of TMAD in left ventricular systolicfunction conversely;(2) To probe the application of TMAD in detecting patientswith the reduced cardiac function. Methods: The study selected50healthy subjects(EF≥55%) and125patientswith the reduced cardiac function(EF <55%), According to the LVEF by Simpson’smethod, the125patients of the reduced cardiac function were divided to subset, eachsubset have25cases (EF:50%-54%, EF:45%-49%, EF:40%-44%, EF:35%-39%,EF:<35%). The study apply Philips IE33ultrasonic imaging apparatus’ TMAD toacquire TMAD1(The maximum displacement of interventricular septum);TMAD2:(The maximum displacement of lateral wall);TMAD Midpt: The maximumdisplacement of the midpoint connecting interventricular septum and lateral wall);TMAD Midpt%:the ratio of the maximum displacement of the midpoint accountedfor length diameter in ventriculus sinister.Results:(1)the shape of the TMAD curve of patients with the reduced cardiacfunction are irregular, The values of the reduced cardiac function group measured byTMAD were significantly lower than the control group (P <0.01).(2)Both of thevalues TMAD and LVEF are good correlation (P <0.01), each of the values werehigher repeatability.(3) the correlation of TMAD Midpt%and LVEF are highest. Conclusion: The TMAD expected to become a new even alternative LVEFindicator because of simple operation and high repeatability. We try to evaluate the leftventricular systolic function by TMAD value conversely.
